and facilities, with the possibility of improving productivity with the application of
methods, standards and work design.

The study of methods and times consisted of analyzing the situation in which the
company was through the analysis of management indicators, working methods and
identification of bottlenecks, in this way modifications were proposed and established
in the execution of the activities that were objects of study, later a series of trainings
was carried out on the critical phases that were found.
Next, a comparison of the times before and after the established improvements was
made and an average reduction in the execution time of 38,55% was observed, and
then the implementation of improvement techniques in the process was sought. |

El presente trabajo de investigación determina los procedimientos sobre cómo se realizó un estudio de métodos y tiempos con el objetivo de identificar el tiempo empleado en el desarrollo de las actividades que fueron objeto de estudio en la empresa Applus Norcontrol en el proceso de Medida Especial sede Santa Marta. Realizar un estudio de métodos y tiempos es de suma importancia para cualquier organización donde existan procesos productivos relacionados con personas, materias prima e instalaciones, con la posibilidad de mejorar la productividad con la aplicación de métodos, estándares y diseño de trabajo. . El estudio de métodos y tiempos consistió en analizar la situación en la que se encontraba la empresa mediante el análisis de los indicadores de gestión,métodos de trabajo e identificación de cuellos de botella, de esta manera se propuso y establecieron modificaciones en la ejecución de las actividades que fueron objetos de estudio, posteriormente se realizó una serie de capacitaciones sobre las fases criticas qué se encontraron. Seguidamente se realizó una comparación de los tiempos antes y después de las mejoras establecidas y se pudo observar una reducción promedio en el tiempo de ejecución de un 38,55% y seguidamente se buscó la implementación de técnicas de mejora en el proceso.
