But the deficit and deterioration of the tourist infrastructures has put into imbalance and thus affecting the development of the municipality. The promotion of the llanera culture and its conservation in current and future generations, through architectural infrastructures that enhance it. An intervention is proposed in the municipality to achieve the development of a cultural agrotourism architectural design that covers all branches and also a solution to the problem of the municipality and its citizens. This will allow Puerto López to once again be a national tourist and cultural reference point.

Puerto López Meta, es el fiel representante de la altillanura, por sus hermosos paisajes llaneros; su hidrografía, naturaleza, fauna y flora. Se ha caracterizado por muchos años en mantener presente la cultura llanera mediante el turismo impulsando así lo que los caracteriza. Pero el déficit y deterioro de las infraestructuras turísticas ha puesto en desequilibrio y así afectando el desarrollo del municipio. El fomento de la cultura llanera y su conservación en las actuales y próximas generaciones, mediante infraestructuras arquitectónicas que lo potencialice. Se propone una intervención en el municipio para lograr el desarrollo de un diseño arquitectónico agroturístico cultural que abarque todas las ramas y así mismo de solución al problema del municipio y de sus ciudadanos. Esto permitirá que Puerto López vuelva a ser punto de referencia turística y cultural a nivel nacional.
