| Sumario: | The petrochemical industry in Cartagena, is of great importance for economic
development, therefore, the companies that are present have developed the implementation of a
number of technological processes necessary to achieve high quality finished products. From
these productive processes arises new processes of maintenance and management of equipment
and materials, as is the case of the backwashing process in the Sodas unit of the Cartagena
Refinery, it has been studied that the current method of the company does not generate the
necessary efficiency for the company, therefore, this research was carried out consisting of a
diagnosis of the current backwashing process, the identification of available methods and their
efficiency level and the presentation of a proposal that meets the needs identified in the
diagnosis. Finally, specific recommendations for the company are presented. |
