El objetivo de este trabajo de grado se orientó a la ubicación geográfica de ganado bovino en tiempo real, utilizando un sistema no invasivo de monitoreo, herramientas de hardware y software para capturar información de la ubicación, recopilación de la información en una base de datos y envío de datos a través de una red GSM a un teléfono móvil. La aplicación de estas herramientas tecnologías son seleccionadas buscando el mejoramiento del manejo de los hatos ganaderos en el país.
