description	This project is part of the material relevant to the work of grade to opt for the title of master in fine arts and Visual of the Antonio Nariño University. This material involves an academic text (this text), a book artist, and an exhibition. Between Absence and Presence, is an academic text of research-creation, which investigates, from contemporary artistic practices, the relationship between life and death, through the presence of my mother. Its structure orders the different moments that the artistic project goes through; at first it feeds on the log; a travel journal that records reflexive gestures and some poetic texts. In the second moment, images of art and history are analyzed, in addition to genealogical photographs; a third moment is the creation of a laboratory, exercise of external observation, and fourth phase the final materialization. From a personal perspective, outlining multiple definitions of a chair; a space, a body, a road, a sound or a presence, concepts and meeting points between figure mother, my father, and the Act of walking, part of the process of my artistic practice. Continue the resulting definitions above categories, each category deals with personal reflections and images type historical, genealogical, and memory, introduced as related artistic and historical scenarios. Shows plastic gestures and reflections: an approach to materials, drawings, photographs, or sound pieces that become of inquiries. Finally; as a result of the performed process, define the approach of the creation and realization of the plastic work.

Este proyecto hace parte del material correspondiente al trabajo de grado para optar por el título de Maestro en Artes Plásticas y Visuales de la Universidad Antonio Nariño. Dicho material se compone de, un texto académico (este texto), un libro de artista (bitácora), un escrito y una exhibición plástica. Entre Ausencia y Presencia, es un texto académico de investigación - creación, que indaga desde las prácticas artísticas contemporáneas, la relación entre la vida y la muerte que, por medio de una silla perteneciente a mi madre, rastrea el vinculo existente con su imagen. Esto, aunado a una serie de ejercicios, tanto escritos como gestuales con mi padre. Su estructura ordena los diferentes momentos que el proyecto artístico atraviesa; En un primer momento se alimenta de la bitácora; Un diario de viaje que registra a manera reflexiva, gestos plásticos y algunos textos poéticos; en el segundo momento, se analizan imágenes del arte y la historia, además de fotografías genealógicas; un tercer momento es la creación de un laboratorio, ejercicio de observación externa, y cuarta fase del proceso de creación y materialización de la obra. Esta obra, reflexiona y aborda la estética de la silla desde distintos aspectos; un espacio, un cuerpo, un camino, un sonido o una presencia. Conceptos y puntos de encuentro entre la presencia de mi madre y los aportes gestuales realizados con mi padre, sumados al ejercicio de caminar como parte del proceso de mi práctica artística. Continúan las categorías, resultantes de definiciones mencionadas anteriormente. Cada categoría aborda reflexiones personales e imágenes de tipo histórico, genealógico y de memoria introducidas como referentes artísticos y escenarios históricos posibles. Se Muestran gestos plásticos y reflexiones: Acercamiento a materiales, dibujos, fotografías y piezas sonoras que provienen de indagaciones. Finalmente; como resultado del proceso realizado, definir el enfoque de la creación y materialización de la obra plástica.
