| Sumario: | The work begins as a personal topic, where the main topic is the older adult,
when researching on this topic, the problem is found in the interaction of the adult
elderly with limited mobility and their caregiver. Being the main user the
caregiver, when performing the activity with the older adult performs movements
repetitive, bad postures and inadequate spaces, which affect the system
skeletal muscle of the user, focusing this work on the thoracolumbar area
Designing a device that protects this area where it corrects posture, limits the
inadequate movements and helps support weight.
This investigation was carried out in the city of Bogotá, where interviews were conducted
to nursing homes, caregivers and older adults who have limited
movement to solve the problems previously presented. The scope of
this job was digital design and digital checking to find the
suitable materials and the weight to bear of the device. |
