Este documento es un estudio de diseño de un tanque agitador vertical para mezcla de fertilizante natural de 100 Litros, tema que se escogió como proyecto integrador de grado para el título de ingeniero mecánico. Esta propuesta va enfocada al diseño apropiado de un tanque agitador para una mezcla de biofertilizante hecho por la empresa Fertimax partiendo de la viscosidad y la densidad de la mezcla. En este documento dentro del marco teórico también están los conceptos básicos de la agitación y mezclado. En los capítulos se encuentran tipos y características principales de los tanques agitados tales como, tipos de tanques, tipos de flujo, tipos de impelente, con sus características principales. Se definieron y realizaron los cálculos para el diseño estructural del tanque agitador y por último se definieron los costos de materialización del tanque agitador.
