This surgical need through the observation of some Spanish classes and the way the reading plan is implemented in the educational institution Gimnasio Psicopedagógico María Isabel, it is evident that the students do not give meaning to what they read because the readings are not specifically due to the way the texts are presented and the teaching methodologies of the teachers. In this sense, this material is proposed for the exploration of reading in second grade students.

El presente trabajo de grado se propone hacer una exploración y fortalecimiento de la habilidad lectora en estudiantes de grado segundo, para ello se propone una lectura multimodal con el objetivo de que los estudiantes lean distintos formatos a partir de los cuales puedan otorgar sentido y significado a textos y a su contexto. Esta necesidad surgió a través de la observación de algunas clases de español y de la manera en que se implementa el plan lector en la institución educativa Gimnasio Psicopedagógico María Isabel, se evidenció que los estudiantes no dan significado a lo que leen porque las lecturas no son significativas debido a la forma en las que se presentan los textos y a las metodologías de enseñanza de los profesores. En este sentido, se propone este material para para la exploración de la lectura en estudiantes de grado de segundo.
