Summary:This research was carried out during the second semester of 2019 in which a didactic tool for Gamification was designed and analyzed based on the theoretical basis of the Six readings proposed by De Zubiría (2002). It is a study with a quasi-experimental quantitative approach for which it will be used in the pretest, posttest, and observation of behavior in the treatment of indicators. The objective of the present study was to implement gamification as a didactic tool to enhance the transit between the primary and secondary decoding levels of the reading process of the second-grade students of the Bilingual School San Juan de Dios. The analysis of the collected data was carried out from quantitative analytical matrices that allowed us to conclude that the designed instrument generated a change in the students' attitude while confirming gamification as a didactic tool that influenced the improvement of the assertiveness levels of primary and secondary decoding, while contributing to the strengthening of reading comprehension through virtual environments.
