Sumario:	Variations in the exchange rate may affect, at any given time, either passively or negatively, the export process of a country, directly affecting the behavior of companies that send their products abroad. Objective: to determine the incidence that the variations of the exchange rate produce in the exports of the companies of the Agricultural Sector of the Municipality of Palmira in the period between the years 2014- 2018. Method: through the deductive methodology, this descriptive, correlational and explanatory study was developed, describing the situations that occurred due to the correlation that the variables that interacted had using the simple linear regression model. Results: it was possible to establish the direct relationship between the variations in the exchange rate and the exports of companies in the palmirano Agricultural Sector in the period under study.
