| Sumario: | The present work of degree of sectorial urban scope consists of the design of the public space of the axis of the Troncal Caracas between streets 57 and 72. It’s located in UPZ Chapinero Central, Chapinero town. The proposal that aims to increase the sufficient public space per inhabitant (DADEP, 2020) in the area studied.
The project is in the area of the Plaza de Lourdes. This place is an essential part of defining the centrality of Chapinero and its activities at the metropolitan level. Besides, the public space design project involves the re-naturalization of the Las Delicias gorge, which will connect hiking and landscape contemplation activities with the urban centre. It's proposed as an ecological corridor from Plaza de Lourdes to the beginning of the environmental protection zone of the eastern hills. |
