Descripción
Sumario:This research focused on working with the population of parents with children in early childhood belonging to CRECER IPS child rehabilitation, achieving an approach to 10 parents. The main objective was to enhance the development of emotional intelligence in each of them, for the fulfillment of this objective, the application of the emotional intelligence test (MSCEIT) and the positive parenting scale (E2P) was carried out. The MSCEIT evaluates four dimensions of emotional intelligence: emotional understanding, emotional facilitation, emotional perception and emotion management. The E2P assesses parental competencies in four dimensions: bonding, formative, protective and reflective. The application of these tests was carried out individually and face-to-face with each child. The analysis of the data obtained was analyzed using descriptive statistics to calculate measures of central tendency (mean) and dispersion (standard deviation) for each of the EI dimensions.
