Propia This research paper focuses on the identification of levels of emotional dependence in the relationships of couples of students from the Antonio Nariño University, Ibague campus. Emotional dependence can significantly affect the stability of relationships, which makes its study relevant in the university population. Likewise, the main purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the dimensions of emotional dependence, specifically in relation to the fear of breaking up, the need for access to the partner, and subordination among university students. La dependencia emocional puede afectar significativamente la estabilidad de las relaciones, lo que hace relevante su estudio en la población universitaria.
