Summary:	This thesis project primarily aims to restore the functionality of the Carving CNC X6 - 1500 GT router at the Faculty of Arts of Universidad Antonio Nariño. The project was developed to fulfill the need to utilize the tools provided by the university, promoting technological innovation and the use of new technologies among students. A detailed analysis of the router’s current state was conducted, identifying necessary changes and optimizations. Preventive maintenance tasks were completed, including the adjustment, lubrication, and calibration of all components. Additionally, tests were carried out, supported by documentation, to determine speed and acceleration parameters for various materials to prevent wear caused by improper machine use.
