| Sumario: | Financial culture and its influence on debt is a very common problem, especially in the
region in which we are located, which is Latin America. However, in this work we will focus
on the Andrea Carolina urbanization, located in the south of the city of Santa Marta in the
department of Magdalena, also located in Colombia. It will be explained how financial
education, a very important and influential factor can be when it comes to debt levels in the
Andrea Carolina urbanization, recognizing the main problems, their probable causes and
solutions to these problems. The methodology used in this research was diverse. The field of
research was the Andrea Carolina urbanization to observe the average behavior of the
finances of each household, how much difference there is between these behaviors, covering
their expenses, income and obligations and how frequent they are. All this since well-founded
bases in financial education can be synonymous with good management and state of the
finances of a household economy. |
