| Sumario: | The integration of cat-friendly management strategies in veterinary clinics benefits not only the
feline patients, but also renews the experience of the guardians and helps to strengthen the
relationship created between veterinary professionals and the community they serve.
In this paper, several strategies for the assertive implementation of cat-friendly management in
veterinary clinics are mentioned, where the most common obstacles that felines face during visits
to the clinic are analyzed, either in a routine consultation or in an in-hospital management if
necessary, as well as the practices and techniques that can be adopted to mitigate the stress
generated by inadequate management, thus promoting a more welcoming environment for our
patients. |
