| Sumario: | The purpose of the research was to diagnose and analyze the design and production
processes at CM Structures SAS, with the purpose of identifying areas of improvement and
proposing a process map with optimization strategies for the design and production processes. As
a methodology, it was proposed to conduct a survey of 11 employees involved in the 2 processes
already mentioned, as well as an interview with management, in such a way that comprehensive
perceptions about operational efficiency were accessed. The results indicated a positive assessment
of the efficiency of the design process (100% affirmative responses and low level of errors);
However, the need to achieve a balance between profitability and technical requirements was
expressed. When it comes to production, the majority of respondents reported almost complete
compliance with deadlines, although challenges in quality and performance were noted. In this
sense, it was concluded that, despite the strong points of the processes, the training assigned to
training in the administrative and commercial field should be promoted as well as establish a
formal feedback system to promote improvements between commercial profitability, technical
design and quality in production, since the available attitude of the work group to receive more
training seems to show a proactive organizational culture, which represents an opportunity to
improve the competitiveness and sustainability of the company in the market |
