This research was carried out in the Cubico Diseño y Construction company as part of the
development of the internship to obtain the title of civil engineer. During this period, support
activities were carried out in the engineering component, in addition to carrying out research whose
objective was to develop a manual to calculate the seismic vulnerability index. This in order to
know the real state of the existing structures and make relevant decisions when intervening in these
structures. Among the most important results is that: the activities scheduled in the internship were
completed and, in the hours, assigned for it, the most important theoretical bases regarding seismic
vulnerability and existing regulations were compiled. Finally, it was possible to determine the most
influential parameters in the calculation of a vulnerability index by creating the operational manual
based on the application of a case study. |
