Sumario: | This degree project has the general purpose of designing a control system to burn the
cocoa shell, using SolidWorks software for it.
This process begins with the exploration of the variables that were studied in the biomass
combustion process, taking into account their limits and changes. In addition, an analysis was
carried out to acquire the data that was needed for the control and activation, knowing the
variables that intervene in the thermodynamic process. Then, the controller that allows the
monitoring and observation of the variables was designed and finally the designed system was
evaluated, with performance tests and simulation.
The methodological design is a V-shaped methodology, in which the construction stages
are compared with the quality control stages.
Finally, it is determined with the investigation that the humidity that appears in the pellets
influences the combustion, for which a preheating of the oven must be carried out to evaporate
most of the humidity, and guarantee a good operation of the oven in order to get to temperature. |
