| Summary: | This work focuses on the planning of medium voltage (13,200 kV) and low voltage
(220-127V) electrical distribution systems. The location of interest is Parcela 8 Menejo,
located in the town of Carmen, within the municipality of El Paso in the department of Cesar.
The main objective of this project is to establish the technical specifications and safety
measures necessary for the provision of electrical energy, with the purpose of safeguarding
the integrity of people, wildlife, vegetation and the natural environment, while at the same
time minimize or eliminate risks derived from electricity.
In addition, aspects related to the planning of a low-voltage rural electrical network
are addressed, taking into consideration the technical characteristics that allow efficient
distribution, including the evaluation of distances between users. A methodology is used
that combines descriptive, field research and quantitative approaches. Finally, this project
can serve as a solid theoretical foundation and guide for the development of any overhead
electrical distribution system design project. |
