Summary:	The aim of this work is to have a clearer and more concise idea about AMD taking into account the following factors: gender, age, type of AMD, ocular involvement, complementary examinations and treatment. The objective was to identify the diagnosis and management of patients with AMD. A descriptive quantitative study was carried out where clinical histories were collected, providing us with the necessary information to contemplate the number of patients who arrived with this pathology and the treatment they were being administered. They found that wet AMD has a higher prevalence than dry AMD and that it is managed with daily oral multivitamins.
