Summary:Objective: To describe nursing interventions in the management of anxiety in family caregivers of people with cancer. Methodology: Through a literature review using the databases: Scopus, Redalyc.org, Scielo, PubMed, Google Scholar and Nursing @ Ovid Consortia, articles that met the eligibility criteria were selected, which were 32 articles. Results: We identified 5 nursing interventions for the management of anxiety in family caregivers with cancer, which were, health education, therapy with the environment, counseling, relaxation techniques and Spiritual Support. Conclusion: The family caregiver has a negative impact on his life by taking the role of caregiver, experiencing high levels of anxiety and changes in his lifestyle. Nursing plays an important role, because it provides holistic care, considering not only physical, but also spiritual, emotional and social aspects.
