Description
Summary:This research addresses the significant physical and emotional changes that occur in women, highlighting the particular challenges of climacteric and menopause. It points out the importance of understanding these changes to enhance women's health, who face premenopausal symptoms starting at age 45, which are related to hormonal adjustments impacting their quality of life. The study is based on Callista Roy's Adaptation Model, emphasizing the coping and adaptation dimensions that are affected during the climacteric and menopause. It discusses how adaptation capacity varies among women and is influenced by their knowledge of the changes they experience. The methodological approach was a narrative review, where previous studies on the quality of life during the climacteric and menopause were selected, analyzing symptoms and applicable therapies.
