what defines sexual assault, finding differences between the beliefs that men and women; the
first attribute greater importance to direct aggression (touching) and the latter believe that all
behavior is sexual assault (touching, looks, thoughts and compliments); well within the state
of art data legally they support the punishment of offenders but not materialize for lack of
evidence, since sexual aggression leaves no palpable sequel were found. Finally it was noted
that for both men and women the only aggressor is the man and this same not contemplate the
possibility of becoming a victim. |

En esta investigación se muestran las creencias que tienen las y los usuarios de transporte masivo frente a la agresión sexual. Utilizando una metodología cualitativa, y a través de la entrevista semiestructurada, fue posible identificar categorías como información, experiencias y reacciones de las y los usuarios de transporte masivo ante los eventos de agresión sexual. Como resultados relevantes, se puede destacar la falta de una clara conceptualización de lo que define una agresión sexual, encontrando diferencias entre las creencias que tienen los hombres y las mujeres; los primeros atribuyen mayor relevancia a la agresión directa (tocamientos) y las segundas creen que toda conducta es una agresión sexual (tocamientos, miradas, pensamientos y piropos); además dentro del estado de arte se hallaron datos que soportan legalmente el castigo a los agresores pero no se materializan por falta de pruebas, ya que la agresión sexual no deja secuela palpable.
