assessed the meaning of life and vital dimensions of existential purpose and Consistency also
seeking alcohol level and pattern of intake of alcoholic beverages. To analyze the statistical
package SPSS version 20.0 was used for Windows® statistic®. |

El objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar la relación entre el sentido de vida y el consumo de alcohol en estudiantes de Psicología de la Universidad Antonio Nariño de Bogotá, en el primer semestre del año 2015, diferenciando las dimensiones de propósito vital y coherencia existencial, así como también identificar los niveles de consumo perjudicial y de riesgo. Para efecto de ello, bajo un diseño observacional descriptivo –correlacional y un muestreo aleatorio probabilístico, 170 estudiantes que con consentimiento informado, voluntariamente respondieron la Escala Dimensional del Sentido de Vida (EDSV) y el test para la identificación de trastornos debido al consumo de alcohol (AUDIT). Que valoraron el sentido de vida y sus dimensiones de Propósito vital y Coherencia existencial, además del consumo de alcohol se buscó identificar los niveles de ingesta de riego y perjudicial de bebidas embriagantes.
