| Sumario: | In the municipality of Tello Huila, in the last decade the presence of informal settlements has been seen, where we have one of them and so far the only settlement, called Villa de Río, this settlement is located on the slope of the Villa Vieja river. . , exactly in its protection zone, it is worth remembering that it is located in an area of high risk of threat, endangering the lives of this population, affecting the environmental areas of the municipality and not allowing its planned development.
This research is done with the purpose of knowing what are the reasons that led these people to generate invasion actions and want to create a settlement, who have tried to survive and have seen the need to self-build their homes, Regardless of the characteristics that make up a decent home, this is not only affecting their lives but also the social, environmental and urban dynamics of the municipality. |
