La presente investigación tiene como propósito describir las narrativas de las madres frente a la experiencia de hospitalización de su bebé, estudio que fue realizado en el Hospital de la Victoria de la Cuidad de Bogotá; para ello se llevó a cabo una investigación de corte cualitativo, con enfoque hermenéutico y diseño narrativo, utilizando como instrumento la aplicación de una entrevista semiestructurada y posterior análisis por categorías; como hallazgos sobresalientes se evidencian los aspectos que estas madres le atribuyen a la experiencia de hospitalización de su recién nacido, esto sujeto a la prematurez y las posibles complicaciones de salud de su bebé, aspectos que describen como “difícil y doloroso”.
