La presente ponencia se centra en la problemática de la comprensión lectora que se identificó durante la recopilación de documentos. Por ende, consideramos relevante abordar esta cuestión, y darle visibilidad a la importancia de la comprensión lectora, ya que Maira Arrieta (2022) sostiene que "los estudiantes requieren una estrategia didáctica capaz de despertar el interés en la comprensión e interpretación de los textos, enfocándose en las habilidades cognitivas y lingüísticas, lo que determina la información semántica y, al mismo tiempo, sintáctica desarrollada en una buena lectura" (p. 3). En consecuencia, han surgido nuevas metodologías que buscan usar los juegos para el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje favoreciendo la comprensión lectora.
