Methodology: A literature review was performed based on the search of materials in search engines such as Dialnet, Google Academic, Mendeley and Scielo,between 2019 and 2023. Results: Articles scientific were taken for the analysis of the results with a percentage of 70% international from countries such as Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Spain, Cuba and 30% Colombian. The use of virtual tools for learning the English language has a positive impact on students as they are motivated and involved in the development and use of these tools. Conclusions: The use and implementation of virtual tools for the teaching and learning process is determined, having as main objective to improve communicative skills in English, starting from the fact that these tools facilitate the use of new methodologies and strategies in the classroom. |

La presente revisión describe la implementación de las Unidades Virtuales de Aprendizaje (UVA) en la enseñanza del inglés, teniendo en cuenta el análisis de diez artículos. Considerando las necesidades que surgen en torno a la sociedad moderna, lo cual requiere de una nueva generación de docentes adaptados a las herramientas tecnológicas para fomentar el pensamiento crítico y la creatividad de los estudiantes dentro de su proceso formativo. Metodología: se realizó una revisión bibliográfica a partir de la búsqueda de materiales en el motor de búsqueda Google Académico y en las bases de datos Dialnet, Mendeley y Scielo, entre los años 2019 hasta 2023. Resultados: para el análisis de los resultados se tuvieron en cuenta artículos científicos con un porcentaje de 70% internacionales de países como Perú, Venezuela, Ecuador, España, Cuba y un 30% colombianos. El uso de herramientas virtuales para el aprendizaje del inglés tiene una incidencia positiva en los estudiantes ya que se encuentran motivados e involucrados en la construcción y utilización de estas herramientas.
