In this study, a qualitative methodology was used through contributes the document review method at the national and international levels. The objective is to identify the incidence and effects generated by ICT in elementary school and high school students, when using digital tools in scriptural processes. From a total of 50 references identified, 20 studies were selected under the criteria that were research published from the year 2017 and would account for the effects of ICT in the production of written texts. The selected texts -researches and theses- were examined and analyzed using an analysis matrix, in which the objectives, the population under study, the methodologies, the theoretical frameworks and the main findings derived from the results in these documents were investigated. The work’s results indicate that ICT can contribute significantly to the teaching and learning processes of writing; nevertheless, a high percentage of teachers only make use of ICT to transmit information. |

En la sociedad actual, la escritura digital ha cobrado gran importancia porque es una de las herramientas que contribuye en el desarrollo cognitivo y en las relaciones interpersonales. En este estudio se utilizó una metodología de corte cualitativo a través del método de revisión documental en los ámbitos nacional e internacional. El objetivo es identificar la incidencia y los efectos que generan las TIC en estudiantes de básica primaria y secundaria, al emplear herramientas digitales en los procesos escriturales. De un total de 50 referencias identificadas, 20 estudios fueron seleccionados bajo los criterios de investigaciones publicadas a partir del año 2017 y dieron cuenta de los efectos de las TIC en la producción de textos escritos. Los documentos hallados -investigaciones y tesis- fueron examinados y analizados mediante una matriz de análisis, en la que se indagó sobre los objetivos, la población objeto de estudio, las metodologías, los marcos teóricos y principales hallazgos derivados de los resultados en estos documentos.
