However, there is little research dedicated to the analysis of the theoretical discussions that are prescribed in these courses. The objective of this article was to analyze the bibliographies prescribed to teach educators best assessment practices in specific course curriculum related to this area in Latin American training courses for Physical Education teachers, identifying the authors, their nationalities, countries in which the authors are prescribed, and their academic production background about assessment practices. Methodology: This project is a qualitative and exploratory investigation, based on documentary analysis of the type of the type of author’ networks that use Gephy software as a support tool. The studied sources were 83 references prescribed in 14 discipline plans of 13 Latin American institutions. Results and discussion: The results show a predominance of Spanish authors, the presence of authors from the same country of origin of the institution where the discipline is taught, the circularity of Latin American authors outside the country of origin, and authors who have generated a background for the study of assessment practices. Conclusions: In each context, the courses prescribe bibliographies/authors that allow students in the process of teacher training to bring the study of evaluation closer to the context of future professional performance.

Introducción: Los estudios que analizan la prescripción de la evaluación educativa en los cursos de formación docente en los países de América Latina han sido una práctica reciente entre los investigadores; sin embargo, existen pocas investigaciones que se dedican al análisis de las discusiones teóricas que se prescriben en estos contextos. El objetivo de este artículo fue analizar las bibliografías prescritas para la enseñanza de la evaluación en los planes de las asignaturas específicas sobre este tema, ofrecidas en los cursos de formación docente en educación física en países de América Latina, e identificar a los autores, sus nacionalidades, países donde se prescribieron y sus trayectorias de producción académica sobre la evaluación. Metodología: Se caracteriza por ser una investigación cualitativa y exploratoria, basada en el análisis documental del tipo redes de autores que usa como herramienta de apoyo el software Gephi. Se tomaron como fuentes 83 bibliografías prescritas en 14 planes de asignaturas de 13 instituciones latinoamericanas. Resultados y discusión: Los resultados muestran predominio de autores españoles, presencia de autores del mismo país de origen de la institución donde se imparte la asignatura, circularidad de autores latinoamericanos fuera del país de origen y autores que han constituido una trayectoria de estudio de la evaluación.
