En el artículo se alerta sobre la indefinición del concepto de emoción, el cual proviene del lenguaje natural, y que inserto histórica y socialmente, ha afectado también a la filosofía y la ciencia. Parto, entonces, del enfoque de la neurociencia y paso al mundo social, ejemplificando con la teoría del intercambio de la sociología de las emociones.
