This text show us some investigative movements interested in understanding the thought and action of the teacher, also develops historical questions of the evolution of the concept of childhood from different schools of thought and ideas. On the other hand, it highlights the origin of the ChE profession as one of the aspects that has hindered the creation of knowledge, and makes the difference of the elements that serve as a point of analysis to define the object of study of ChE. Through knowledge epistemological exploration of ChE makes a short work of a particular knowledge and another differentiable knowledge of other field teachers. Finally, using the idea of forming devices, the idea of knowledge desirable is developed to produce knowledge of the ChE and which relate to the principles of child education. |

Este artículo, es un aporte a la reflexión sobre la forma en que las prácticas institucionalizadas en la educación inicial han configurado el conocimiento de la Educadora Infantil (EI) y cómo este debe transitar a nuevas construcciones y comprensiones. Muestra las corrientes investigativas que se han interesado por comprender el pensamiento y la acción del profesor, a la vez que desarrolla cuestiones históricas de la evolución del concepto de infancia desde distintas corrientes y concepciones de pensamiento. Resalta el origen de la profesión de la EI como uno de los aspectos que más ha dificultado la constitución de su conocimiento, distingue a la vez, los elementos que sirven como punto de análisis para precisar el objeto de estudio de la EI. A través de la exploración epistemológica del conocimiento de la EI da cuenta de un conocimiento particular y diferenciable del conocimiento de los profesores de otros campos.
