La investigación destaca la importancia de conocer a fondo las masas forestales en los parques urbanos, con el fin de lograr un buen manejo de la vegetación de los mismos, y se adelantó en cinco parques de Neiva, aplicando una ficha para el registro de los árboles y los arbustos diseñada por el investigador.
