Summary:This work is articulated with the ICT in education line of the research group of university cultures (COL0052609), when developing a literature review to determine if the Social networks can be spaces for teaching history for middle school students. The author of the compilation monograph has incorporated the understanding of currents theoretical theories and historical processes to analyze epistemological positions and design the methodology of the bibliometric and literature review, which involves the use of collection, analysis and interpretation of data for the processing of information, allowing the identification of the educational actions from the student, teacher and the institution when applying social networks in the learning of history in the basic education population.
