description	This research thesis focuses on understanding how barriers to access mental health services are configured and overcome in rural areas of the Municipality of Roldanillo. Firstly, the introduction presents the context of mental health in rural settings, highlighting the relevance of addressing this topic. The background examines the existing literature on barriers to access to mental health in rural areas, providing a theoretical framework for the study. The main objective is to analyze the approach to mental health in the rural areas of Roldanillo, identifying specific access barriers and evaluating the impact of the urban disciplinary tradition in Psychology in this context. The research adopts a quantitative approach, using a scoping review instrument and a survey applied to 20 people from the town of Morelia to collect data. The results of this study are expected to provide valuable information about the barriers that rural communities face in accessing mental health care, as well as possible strategies to overcome them. This analysis will contribute to the design of more effective and equitable policies and programs for mental health in rural settings.

Esta tesis de investigación se enfoca en comprender cómo se configuran y superan las barreras de acceso a los servicios de salud mental en las áreas rurales del Municipio de Roldanillo. En primer lugar, la introducción presenta el contexto de la salud mental en entornos rurales, destacando la relevancia de abordar este tema. Los antecedentes examinan la literatura existente sobre barreras de acceso a la salud mental en áreas rurales, proporcionando un marco teórico para el estudio. El objetivo principal es analizar el abordaje de la salud mental en las zonas rurales de Roldanillo, identificando barreras específicas de acceso y evaluando el impacto de la tradición disciplinar urbana en la Psicología en este contexto. La investigación adopta un enfoque cuantitativo, utilizando un instrumento de revisión de alcance y una encuesta aplicada a 20 personas del corregimiento de Morelia para recopilar datos. Se espera que los resultados de este estudio proporcionen información valiosa sobre las barreras que enfrentan las comunidades rurales en el acceso a la atención en salud mental, así como posibles estrategias para superarlas. Este análisis contribuirá al diseño de políticas y programas más efectivos y equitativos para la salud mental en entornos rurales.
