In the introduction, the article exposes the total absence of Colombian oeuvres as part of the study plan of music programs, and the reasons for that to happen. The methodology establishes the principles and technical resources proper to the occupation, and the criteria for selecting the compositions. And the results include a selection of twelve works, its educational application from the graphs conceived before, and a fragment of a piano four-hand reduction of one of them as a sample. The text concludes that, owing to the research project to which the article is just a brief résumé, music schools in Colombia now have a number of works by local composers that can be used for teaching in symphonic direction programs. |

El artículo utiliza una metodología gráfica basada en los elementos constructivos de las obras sinfónicas, para seleccionar algunas composiciones del repertorio sinfónico colombiano, elaborar la reducción para piano a cuatro manos de cada una de ellas, e incluirlas como material para la enseñanza de Dirección Sinfónica en las universidades del país. En la introducción se devela la ausencia total de obras colombianas como repertorio en los programas correspondientes, y las razones de su ausencia. La metodología establece los principios y recursos técnicos propios del oficio, y los criterios para la selección de las composiciones. Los resultados incluyen: las doce obras seleccionadas, su aplicación en la docencia a partir de las gráficas elaboradas, y como muestra, un fragmento de la reducción para piano a cuatro manos de una de las obras. Se concluye que, gracias a la investigación —de la que el artículo es un breve resumen—, las universidades ahora cuentan con una serie de obras de compositores colombianos que pueden aplicar a la docencia en los programas de Dirección Sinfónica.
