| description | In this essay, I analyze the relationship between performing arts (in this case, contemporary dance) and a synchronic materialization that produces something distinct, traditionally located within the visual arts. The relationship between the ephemeral and the material, in the media of dance and drawing, initially unfolds within a performative and creative space while simultaneously generating clearly differentiated medial spaces. The essay focuses on the gaze in multiple manifestations: in the observation and materialization of the ephemeral (dance) observed by the artist; in the gaze as a conceptual metaphor; and in the way it shapes the archive under construction. This archive is based on the legacy of the visual artist, painter, videographer, and scenographer Eduardo López Lemus, and includes his works and observations (again, as a specific gaze), as well as reflections on the conceptualization of the archive itself. Once again, we encounter the presence of the gaze, now in the form of visual concepts, exemplified by second-order observation transformed into action, and absence as a problem of representation. |

En este ensayo propongo analizar la relación entre artes performativas (en este caso, la danza contemporánea) y formas de materialización en vivo que crean algo distinto, ubicado tradicionalmente en las artes plásticas. La relación entre lo efímero y lo material en los medios danza y dibujo coincide en un primer momento en un espacio performativo-creativo y genera, a la vez, espacios mediales claramente diferenciados. Como centro del ensayo se plantea la noción mirada en sus múltiples presencias: en la observación y materialización de lo observado por parte del dibujante, en la mirada como una especie de metáfora, y en la manera en la que incide en el archivo en construcción. Este archivo parte del legado del dibujante, pintor, videasta y escenógrafo Eduardo López Lemus, incluye su obra y sus observaciones (nuevamente, una mirada especifica), además de diversas reflexiones en torno a la conceptualización del archivo. De manera reiterada, estamos ante la presencia de la mirada, ahora en forma de conceptos-imagen, ejemplificados mediante la observación de segundo grado convertida en acción; y la ausencia como problema de la representación. Neste ensaio, proponho analisar a relação entre as artes performativas (neste caso, a dança contemporânea) e as formas de materialização ao vivo que criam algo distinto, tradicionalmente situado no âmbito das artes visuais. A relação entre o efêmero e o material na dança e no desenho coincide inicialmente num espaço performativo-criativo e, simultaneamente, gera espaços midiáticos claramente diferenciados. O ensaio centra-se na noção do olhar em suas múltiplas manifestações: na observação e materialização do que é observado pelo artista, no olhar como uma espécie de metáfora e na forma como influencia o arquivo em construção. Este arquivo deriva do legado do artista, pintor, videógrafo e cenógrafo Eduardo López Lemus, e inclui sua obra e observações (novamente, um olhar específico), bem como diversas reflexões sobre a conceitualização do arquivo. Encontramos repetidamente a presença do olhar, agora na forma de conceitos-imagem, exemplificados pela observação de segunda ordem transformada em ação; e a ausência como um problema de representação.
