Este artículo presenta una reflexión en torno a la importancia de la interdisciplinariedad en el arte contemporáneo, a partir del proceso creativo de la obra Jugando a ser hormigas, una propuesta escénica que articula danza, música y teatro. Se plantea cómo la integración de distintas disciplinas permite un diálogo horizontal entre lenguajes artísticos, fomentando procesos de creación colectiva que interpelan al artista no solo desde lo técnico, sino también desde lo sensible, lo simbólico, lo vital; un encuentro introspectivo. La obra, concebida como homenaje al maestro, investigador y artista Abelardo Jaimes, se convierte en un acto de sanación y reencuentro con la esencia del acto creativo: el juego, la exploración y la pregunta constante.
