La filosofía de Martín Heidegger busca el desenmascaramiento de los prejuicios que se han establecido desde antaño en torno a lo que se ha denominado y aún hoy se denomina pensar; esto lo lleva a la necesidad de superar los modos habituales del pensar moderno bajo los cuales interpretamos el mundo y nos consideramos en tanto racionales seres pensantes racionales. A fin de desentrañar tal cuestión el presente texto busca hacer una interpretación del pensar a partir de lo que podría entenderse un estudio metafísico; pues para Heidegger en la metafísica se lleva a cabo siempre la meditación de la esencia del ente y de la verdad.
