description | Introduction: This study synthesizes data from an exploratory research of a qualitative nature that sought to investigate: ¿How did digital resources contribute to the promotion of a process of digital academic engagement? Methodologically, we opted for a narrative literature review (bibliographic review), whose alternative aimed to know and discuss the development of the theme chosen and analyzed, from a theoretical and contextual point of view, but without exhausting the quantity produced. Results and discussions: The results showed, in different ways, the contribution of digital technologies to the promotion of digital academic engagement, especially in times of the Covid-19 pandemic; The use of different digital connection alternatives was the only alternative considered safe during the pandemic period, as it enabled students to learn and (re)learn, supported and connected to their teachers and peers; the recurrent transformations involving digital technologies demand digital teachers, with specific skills to put technology at the service of the pedagogical model and introduce it in the classroom, to improve the quality of teaching; technologies favor the promotion of a gradual digital academic engagement process in an upward spiral. Conclusions: Digital academic engagement offers immense possibilities for the equitable and inclusive development of skills and abilities, access and sharing of different worldviews at any time and place, thus enhancing different teaching and learning processes. |

Introdução: Este estudo sintetiza dados oriundos de uma pesquisa exploratória de natureza qualitativa que buscou investigar: ¿Como recursos digitais contribuíram para a promoção de um processo de engagement acadêmico digital? Metodologicamente optou-se por uma revisão narrativa de literatura (revisão bibliográfica), cuja alternativa visou conhecer e discutir o desenvolvimento do tema escolhido e analisado, do ponto vista teórico e contextual, mas sem esgotar o quantitativo produzido. Resultados e discussões: Os resultados evidenciaram de diferentes forma a contribuição das tecnologias digitais para a promoção do engagement acadêmico digital, sobretudo, em tempos de pandemia de Covid-19; A utilização de diferentes alternativas de conexão digital foi a única alternativa considerada segura no período pandêmico, pois possibilitou a estudantes, aprender e (re)aprender, apoiados e conectados a seus professores e seus pares; as recorrentes transformações envolvendo as tecnologias digitais demandam docentes digitais, com competências específicas para colocar a tecnologia à serviço do modelo pedagógico e introduzi-la na sala de aula, para melhorar a qualidade do ensino; tecnologias favorecem a promoção de um processo de engagement acadêmico digital gradativo e em espiral ascendente. Conclusões: O engagement acadêmico digital oferece imensas possibilidades para o desenvolvimento equitativo e inclusivo de competências e habilidades, acesso e compartilhamento de diferentes visões de mundo a qualquer tempo e local, potencializando assim, distintos processos de ensino e aprendizagem.
