For the determination of the variables and the calculation factors of the indicators, interpretative and coding procedures were used that allowed the construction of a resource that is effective for diagnosing the diversity of recreation scenarios in the environment of the cities. The category of controlled accesses and walkways, which includes three indicators, and the category of amenities and attractions, which includes two more, are disaggregated. The proposal is complemented with two additional factors that respond to the status that the infrastructure must present for surveillance and to have the information of interest. |

De acuerdo con el derecho que la ciudadanía tiene al ejercicio de la recreación en convivencia con espacios públicos, ya sean naturales o creados, en este trabajo se exponen, en el marco de las categorías de accesibilidad y de interacción social, un grupo de indicadores para facilitar la medición, con mayor precisión y homogeneidad, del desempeño de la función para el que dichos sitios fueron creados. Para la determinación de las variables y los factores de cálculo de los indicadores se recurrió a procedimientos interpretativos y de codificación que permitieron construir un recurso que es efectivo para diagnosticar la diversidad de escenarios de recreación en el entorno de las ciudades. Se desagrega la categoría de accesos y andadores controlados que incluye tres indicadores, y la categoría de amenidades y atractivos que incluye dos más. Se complementa la propuesta con dos factores adicionales que responden al estatus que debe presentar la infraestructura para la vigilancia y para la disposición de información de interés.
