| description | This paper presents the results of the investigation titled The theater as a pedagogical element, from a Human Rights perspective: Towards a concept of peacebuilding - Case studies. Made by Juan Daniel Ocoró Obregón, Bachelor of Performing Arts, to opt for the title of Master in Human Rights and Culture of Peace, from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana-Cali. In it, a brief summary of the relationship between theater and Human Rights is presented as to how they help to build peace. In the same way, it delves into the case study of two plays that promote the culture of peace in their speech. Finally, it shows how from the theories on collective creation, social theater, community theater, forum theater, and legislative theater, the workshop "Theater and construction of peace" is built, which is put into practice with young people. of the ICBF and gives rise to the design of the diploma in Human Rights and Peacebuilding, to accompany the young leaders of the social outbreak in the Department of Valle del Cauca in a teaching-learning process. |

En la presente ponencia se presentan los resultados de la investigación titulada El teatro como elemento pedagógico, en perspectiva de Derechos Humanos: Hacia un concepto de construcción de Paz – Estudio de casos. Realizada por el Licenciado en Artes Escénicas Juan Daniel Ocoró Obregón, para optar por el título de Magíster en Derechos Humanos y Cultura de Paz, de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana-Cali. En ella, se presenta un breve resumen de la relación existente entre el teatro y los Derechos Humanos y como estos ayudan a la construcción de paz. De igual forma, se ahonda en el estudio de casos de dos obras de teatro que en su discurso promueven la cultura de paz. Finalmente, se muestra como a partir de las teorías sobre la creación colectiva, el teatro social, teatro comunitario, el teatro foro y el teatro legislativo, se construye el taller de “Teatro y construcción de paz” el cual es puesto en prácticas con jóvenes del ICBF y da pie al diseño del diplomado en Derechos Humanaos y Construcción de Paz, para acompañar en un proceso de enseñanza a aprendizaje a los jóvenes líderes del estallido social en el Departamento del Valle del Cauca.
