El abordaje e inicio de una terapia desde el enfoque sistémico trasciende de quien recibe esa orientación e interactúa de una manera indirecta o directa en algunos casos, con el fin de identificar, valorar y determinar acciones para la mejora en esas redes o núcleos de apoyo; para esto, es necesario contextualizar de una manera clara las bases e inicio de los miembros famiiares y más cercanos, puesto que en gran parte pueden ser causales de los malestares reflejados o de su posible tratamiento.
