Desde el siglo pasado los reformadores teatrales se han preguntado cómo podían reforzar la experiencia teatral. Qué elementos eran imprescindibles para el acto teatral. Copeau estableció que el actor era el centro del trabajo teatral, pero a su vez siempre ansió para su teatro la aparición de un nuevo dramaturgo que puedira encumbrar el trabajo que realizó con los actores. Lo que no supo ver fue que ese dramaturgo que sintió que nunca apareció estaba mucho más cerca de él, de lo que jamás pudo imaginarse.
