Summary:	The present investigation made it possible to demonstrate the functional dynamics of single-parent families with homosexual children based on narratives, imaginaries and experiences related to determining aspects such as inclusion, communication and tolerance in the setting of father-mother-child relationships; For this, the qualitative approach was used based on the hermeneutics, through the collection of data by the individual structured interview applied to three families selected for convenience.
