challenges can be addressed from the same perspective of action, in direct collaboration with the
community.
Therefore, the present proposal has as its main objective the creation of an innovative model
for the renovation of public spaces in neighborhood areas. This model will not only focus on
aesthetic revitalization, but will also incorporate elements designed to mitigate the effects of
climate change. These elements include eco-sustainable street furniture, a landscaping design in
harmony with our environmental surroundings, and the promotion of active community
participation in the use, enjoyment and conservation of these public spaces.
In addition, this project has as a central goal the formulation of activities that can be developed
around the green spaces present in the sector Candido 1. These activities will seek to stimulate and
encourage the use of these spaces, in order to strengthen the sense of belonging and cultural
appropriation. By encouraging interaction with these green spaces, it will also indirectly contribute
to the fight against climate change, as it will be promoting healthier and more sustainable
environments. |

Después de llevar a cabo un análisis en la ciudad de Neiva y las diversas problemáticas que la aquejan, hemos identificado dos cuestiones de suma relevancia: el deterioro y mal uso del espacio público, la inseguridad que se ha generado a través de dichos espacios los cuales se suponen que deberían de aportar seguridad y confort para la ciudadanía. En este sentido, se cree firmemente que ambos desafíos pueden ser abordados desde una misma perspectiva de acción, en colaboración directa con la comunidad. Por lo tanto, la presente propuesta tiene como objetivo principal la creación de un modelo innovador para la renovación de parques en las áreas barriales. Este modelo no solo se enfocará en la revitalización estética, sino que también incorporará elementos diseñados para mitigar la inseguridad que se ha generado al igual que se busca la apropiación del espacio público, zonas verdes y parques de la comunidad de Cándido 1. Entre estos elementos se encuentran el mobiliario urbano de tipo eco sostenible, un diseño paisajístico en armonía con nuestro entorno ambiental y la promoción de una participación activa de la comunidad en el uso, disfrute y conservación de estos espacios públicos.
