El municipio de Algeciras, víctimas y población civil se ha visto afectada física y psicológicamente por el conflicto armado, debido a estas problemáticas de violencia, apropiación de tierras, desplazamiento forzado, secuestro, atentados, etc. presentan daños psicosociales, situación que impacta directamente la salud mental y emocional de la población evidenciando que el municipio presenta un déficit de infraestructura y espacios para la atención, apoyo, acompañamiento y rehabilitación.
