La realización de la presente investigación es sobre los estudios de los asentamientos subnormales, siendo sus habitantes una población vulnerable, principalmente en la comuna 6 de Neiva se aborda de manera directa y práctica el tema de los asentamientos subnormales por la zona de protección El Loro en donde una parte considerable de familias de esta comuna residen hoy en esta zona no oficial y se enfrentan a diversos problemas urbanos y relacionados con la ciudad que repercuten en el crecimiento de estas personas. Por esta razón, se justifica con datos relevantes la pertinencia de abordar este tema desde una perspectiva arquitectónica y sus estrategias de diseño urbano, como los 4 criterios que resaltan la circularidad, el habitar, el trabajar y la recreación como pilares importantes para el desarrollo y ofrecer un modelo de planificación urbana, generando propuestas planteadas en esta investigación.
