description	The city of Villavicencio is the Capital of the department of Meta and the most important strategic commercial central point of the Eastern Llanos. The Eje Paisajístico Esponja project was born from the interest and concern of the population about the lack of green areas and public space in the city, since in Colombia a minimum standard of 9 m2/Hab is established according to the OMS and in Villavicencio it only has 2.8 m2/Hab according to the IDOM, (Inter-American Development Bank, 2015) 1 , in addition to evidencing emergencies due to the heavy rains of the year 2010-2011 among others, where the inhabitants suffer from sudden floods, caused by the overflowing of water bodies. and intrusion of self-built housing settlements on the water circuit, therefore the urban proposal seeks the growth of the city, which revolves around recreational activities responding to the sector, generating ecotourism and connection to the Ocoa River. Where it seeks to solve from a sustainable urban perspective to solve and mitigate the impact through the Sponge City method. Keywords: Landscape/Urban/Urban Policies/Ordering/Territory

El proyecto Eje Paisajístico Esponja nace del interés y preocupación de la población por la falta de zonas verdes y espacio público en la ciudad, ya que en Colombia se establece una norma mínima de 9 m2/Hab según la OMS y en Villavicencio solo cuenta con 2.8 m2/Hab según el IDOM, (Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, 2015) 1 , además de evidenciar emergencias por las fuertes lluvias del año 2010-2011 entre otros, en donde los habitantes sufren por repentinas inundaciones, causada por los desbordamientos de los cuerpos hídricos e intrusión de asentamientos de vivienda autoconstruida sobre la ronda hídrica, por lo tanto la propuesta urbana busca el crecimiento de la ciudad, que gire en torno a actividades recreativas respondiendo al sector, generando ecoturismo y conexión al Río Ocoa. Donde se busca resolver desde una perspectiva de urbano sostenible para solucionar y mitigar el impacto mediante el método de Ciudad Esponja.
